Multi-Lynx is currently providing planning and comprehensive engineering services for the development of a 2.5-acre property that has remained abandoned for more than 15 years. Services that Multi-Lynx is scheduled to provide include project management, environmental site assessment, geotechnical engineering investigation, construction management, cost estimates, and engineering services during construction, among others. 

Multi-Lynx began an initial task of environmental site assessment for the abandoned property, formerly used to house a commercial laundry facility, and a petroleum gas station.  The property, located in a residential urban setting, has remained undeveloped due to longstanding environmental concerns. The proposed development on the site would include a grocery store, a pharmacy, a bank, and a retail center. These services have been specifically selected as essential for establishing and enhancing a community center identity for the neighborhood. 

This project is being financed through a combination of public and private funding. Multi-Lynx is currently pursuing a “no-risk” clearance from state regulatory agency, following which construction will commence.
